Christmas Festivities!

We had a nice first week off from school! We had some fun play dates with our friends, mommy had a girls night with a favorite girlfriend, daddy had a guys night with a buddy and we all went out for pizza with some friends of ours and their kids! Following our pizza dinner we went and looked at Christmas lights all around Franklin. Here are some pictures from our week...

On Christmas Eve, Ellison and I continued our annual holiday tradition of making treats and cookies for Santa! This year we made peppermint sandwhich cookies and pretzel holiday treats! Ellison LOVES to help in the kitchen...

After a big nap, we got dressed in our Christmas best and attended the Christmas Eve service at our church. It was a really nice sermon and made Connor and I realize just how much we are truly thankful for. Most importantly our two precious and HEALTHY children. On Christmas Eve we have a tradition where we ALWAYS read Polar Express and Twas the Night Before Christmas. After story time, Ellison said goodbye to Nomes (our Elf on the Shelf) and we put out a plate of homemade goodies for Santa...
