Trip to Knoxville! (Day 1)

This past weekend we loaded up the kiddos and headed to Knoxville to visit our dear friends, The McNally Family! Jennifer and I are best friends, our husbands get a long really well (they go fishing and have had camping trips together) and they have Owen who is 2 and another one on the way! The last time we saw them was during their visit here back in September before I had Elic. We left Thursday afternoon and came home Sunday morning. We had SO much fun (as always)! I took tons of pictures so I decided to divide the trip into 2 posts :)

We got there right in time for dinner on Thursday evening so we ate yummy fajitas that Ryan made and basically just chilled on the porch. Both Jen and Ryan had to work on Friday (Owen went to school) so Connor and I took the kids out to breakfast, looked around in an outdoor store then took the kids to The World Fair Park in downtown Knoxville. We had a B-L-A-S-T! It was the perfect place to spend some quality family time. There was an awesome playground, these amazing fountains that Ellison (and daddy :) played in. Lots of walking around and pretty scenery.

After we spent the morning having fun in the sun we headed home for lunch and naps. After Ryan and Jen came home from work, the kids had some play time then Jen and I went out for dinner at a yummy sushi place called Nama. It was delicious and nice to have some girl time while the kids and dads hung out at the house!
Love this face! Can't get enough of him!
Jen and I dressed up for a yummy dinner out!
