Happy New Year!

Falling behind again...why yes, yes I am :) Here is a flashback to what we do New Year's Eve! We headed over to our dear friends house...The Bell Family! Always a pleasure hanging with them...our kids literally get a long almost too well if that is even possible. Hadley and Ellison adore each other, Ellen Kate and Elic are like a little married couple...it is priceless.

Yes they have matching pajamas :) These girls are the sweetest...
 Ready with their crowns :)
Elic wore a crown too...how could he not with all these girls surrounding him!
 I love these two...
Mr. Connor throwing Maitland in the mix...poor thing!

After we ate some yummy appetizers we had an early New Year's "Ball Drop" with balloons...it was a huge hit and the kids LOVED it!
Mr. Kevin getting everyone excited for the release of the balloons!
 Here we go...
 Yay!
 Balloon chaos!!

 Let the fun begin...
I think we played for a good hour after that...blowing noise makers, tickle wars, balloon catching and throwing, it was non-stop fun!
 Sweet Hadley...

 Ellison making some noise!
 Balloons are always a hit...
 Sweet Ellen Kate!

Mr. Kevin helping Ellison catch the balloons!
 The little ones winding down...
"Hey sweetie you have some chocolate on your chin, let me get that for you :)"
 Tickle war!
 Mr. Connor got Hadley...
I think here we were playing quiet as a mouse (rest time)...the girls were trying so hard not to make a peep!
 Mommies with their babies :)
 The sweetest bunch :)

Happy New Year!

Christmas with my family!

We celebrated Christmas with my family a couple of days after Christmas this year. It was the way for my whole family to be together :) My brother was in town from San Francisco and my Uncle from Pasadena. The kids were super excited to have ANOTHER Christmas celebration :)

 Ellison and her GoGo!
Uncle GoGo with his niece and nephew...
 My two little loves...

 Claude jumped in!
Elic playing with his fire truck...
 Love these two boys...
Ellison with her super cute umbrella...we have gotten A LOT of use out of it lately!

Love my mom, she ALWAYS comes up with the most creative ways to wrap our money that we get every year for Christmas!
Elic is happy...more trucks! Thank you Claude!

 He is SUCH a BOY!
 Two wonderful guys...
 Cheeses :)
 Look at that ham...

Santa came to GJ and Poppy's house and left the kiddos a surprise! Elic got more stuff for his train table and Ellison got...
 She is ready to see!
A jeep!! She was SO surprise and IN LOVE!

Elic knew exactly what to do, he climbed right into the passenger side, buckled his seat belt and turned on the radio!

We got a chance to take it outside for a test drive...it was a little scary I have to say. Ellison had not had much experience driving one of these things. We (the family) sort of spread ourselves out to help steer the kids clear of mailboxes, trash cans and cars on the streets.

Barbie and Ken riding off into the night!!

Thank you to my family for a wonderful celebration!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning...was a blur it feels like! It is funny out much prep goes into making a morning (actually a few moments) so excited for our kids. Every year the kids get up and we make them wait on the stairs while we get cameras and video cameras ready to record and capture the priceless faces of excitement and surprise! Ellison REALLY got into Christmas this year. She was excited and expressed how she felt about EVERYTHING Christmas and season related. Here is one capture of her Christmas morning literally running to what Santa left her...

I love it! And for Elic ya know he is barely 2 years old of course whatever and whenever his sissy is happy or excited well so is he! I think he was amazed at the fact that instead of going to a toy store or a friends house to see a train table in play he was shocked he had one sitting in his house to play with. He just smiled and kept saying "choo's choo's!"

The kids got each other something and then Connor and I each give them something...then there are stockings!
 We love our princess movies!
She looks SO big and grown up in this picture...
Playing with her Calico Critter House
 Elic on his train table!

After our Christmas morning together we cleaned up and headed to Columbia to celebrate with Connor's family...our first stop was MeMac's house! We celebrated with Connor's mom, siblings and their significant others. We always start with a Christmas brunch then was grab out spots and the kids pass out presents...
 Ellison handing out gifts...

 Aunt Heather and Ellison
 Uncle Ben and Aunt Heather
 Elic passing out presents...

 Aunt Sarah and Uncle Danny...

After MeMac's we made a quick stop by Meme and Papa's house to do Christmas with them...
Meme and Papa and their grandkids...
 MeMac and her grandbabies...
Sarah, Meme, MeMac and the kids!
Had to get a picture of us :)

After Meme and Papa's we made one more stop before heading home. We went to Connor's dads house to celebrate with a big crowd (see the photo below :)
Opening presents and granddaddy's house...more Calico Critter goodies!
Me loving on Baby Gray...isn't he precious?!
Mama Doris with her grandson and GREAT granddaughter!
 The WHOLE crew...

Elic kept saying "hold you baby" so we did and then he wasn't so sure! :)

All in all it was a great Christmas Day spent with family...the kids were whipped by the time we headed home, as you can see :)
